# Writing a Good Prompt

A good prompt helps the AI understand what kind of game the user wants to create.

The more specific the prompt, the better the game output.

### Recommended Prompt Structure

A strong prompt should include:

* Game genre
* Core gameplay mechanic
* Player objective
* Visual style
* Control method
* Difficulty level
* Scoring system
* Enemy or obstacle behavior
* Monetization idea, if needed

### Basic Prompt Example

> Create a simple 2D arcade game where the player collects coins while avoiding falling rocks. The game should have a score system, increasing difficulty, and simple keyboard controls.

### Better Prompt Example

> Create a 2D arcade survival game with a pixel art style. The player controls a small spaceship using keyboard arrows and must avoid asteroids while collecting energy crystals. The score increases when the player collects crystals. Asteroids should fall faster over time. The game ends when the spaceship hits an asteroid. Add a simple start screen, game over screen, and restart button.

### Prompt Tips

Use clear instructions:

* Say what the player does.
* Say how the player wins or loses.
* Mention the visual style.
* Mention controls.
* Mention scoring.
* Mention difficulty progression.
* Mention whether the game should support IAP or export.

Avoid vague prompts like:

> Make a fun game.

Instead, use:

> Make a 2D endless runner where the player jumps over obstacles, collects coins, and gains speed every 30 seconds.

### Prompt Fields

When creating a new game, users may fill in:
