# Plan Change Rules

Users can upgrade, downgrade, or buy a plan anytime.

### Buying the Same Plan

If a user buys the same plan again, the active plan period is extended.

Example:

If a user has Flash active until February 1 and buys Flash again on January 15, the Flash plan extends based on the existing plan end date.

### Buying a Different Plan

If a user buys a different plan, the new plan replaces the current plan immediately.

There is no scheduled plan change.

There is no pending plan.

The new plan starts right away after confirmation.

### Replacement Warning

Before replacing a plan, the system should show a warning.

Recommended copy:

**Your new plan will replace your current active plan. The remaining time on your old plan will not be refunded or converted into credits. Do you want to continue?**

### If the User Cancels

If the user cancels the replacement warning, the current plan stays active.

### If the User Confirms

If the user confirms, the old plan stops immediately and the new plan starts from that day.
